Plaistow, N.H. — Duncan P. Kimball, 54, of Plaistow, N.H. died suddenly on Monday, November 19 at his work site in Boston.
He was born in Haverhill on April 27, 1958, the son of Lorna (Duncanson) Kimball and the late Malcolm D. Kimball.
He was raised in Groveland and graduated from Pentucket Regional High School in 1976 where he excelled in football and tennis. He attended the University of New Hampshire.
Duncan started his career as a salesman moving to sales manager at the McGregor, Ryan, Smith Auto Dealership and then as sales manager at Anderson McKay Motors before becoming a construction supervisor and general contractor developing many subdivisions including Woodstock Meadows and Kimball Hill Drive in Haverhill, Long Pond Estates in Merrimac and Kelleher Pines in Newburyport. He also worked for the Renaissance Golf Course and subdivision in Haverhill. Most recently he was employed in Boston by Thoughtforms Corporation Builders of Acton and The Dave Wagner Construction Company.
Duncan is survived by his beloved daughter, Jessica, and loving companion, Lisa Bouchard; two brothers, Malcolm D. Kimball Jr. and his wife, Joanne, Robert B. Kimball III and his wife, Robyn; a sister, Laurie (Kimball) Ranz and her husband, Michael and nieces and nephews, Craig and Chad Kimball, Kelly and Connie Ranz and Colin and Keegan Kimball.
Duncan was a gentle man, loving, kind and generous. He enjoyed skiing, boating, fishing, motorcycling and golfing with his many friends. We will miss his quick wit and sense of humor.
ARRANGEMENTS: His celebration of life will be held at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 110 Lincoln Avenue, Haverhill,December 1, at 1 p.m.
