Formerly of Bradford — Earl Whitney “Whit” Jackson, Jr., 85, of Amesbury and formerly of Bradford, Newburyport, Westborough, and Greenfield, MA, passed away Thursday, October 17th, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Haverhill on Oct. 30, 1927, son of the late Earl W. and Mary Frances (Mahoney) Jackson.
He was the husband of the late Marilyn M. (Pothier) Jackson, who passed away Aug. 4, 2008 and is survived by his children, Maureen J. and her husband Lee Brown of New Boston, NH; Karen J. and her husband Roger Cox of Grafton, MA; Earl W. Jackson, III and his wife Christine of Haverhill and Kathleen M. and her husband Eric Yemma of Kennebunk, ME, six grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Funeral was held on Monday, Oct. 21st at 9 a.m. from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St., Bradford. Interment with military honors followed in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Calling hours at the H.L.
