Palm Harbor, FL — Ronald "Ronnie" Prue passed away unexpectedly while on vacation in Las Vegas. He was 84. He retired from Western Electric after 34 years of service. In 1980 he moved to Florida with his wife, Elaine.
Ronnie was an amazing man and lived a life of many accomplishments. He competed against the best horseshoe players nationally and in the world. He loved playing softball, tennis, ping pong and enjoyed dancing. His favorite quote was, "I'm living the life of Riley."
Ronnie is survived by his two children, Paul Prue of Bradford, Mass., and Charlotte Rance of Newport Richey, Fla.; two grandchildren, Steele and Chris Rance; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Landon Rance.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Stewart and Hazel Prue; as well as his wife, Elaine and his son, Donald; along with two brothers, Stewart and John and his sister, Gail.
Rest in peace Ronnie Prue. We love you and will miss your kind gentle soul. Thank you for being in our lives.
