Raymond Lucien Poirier was born on April 1, 1933, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to John N. Poirier and Anna Goulet Poirier. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. On February 5, 1961, he married Bernice Young in Salem, New Hampshire. He has lived in Katy since September of 1976, formerly of Plaistow, NH.
Raymond passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at the age of 79 years. He served as security for Texas Commerce Bank (Chase) of Katy for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bernice D. Poirier; children, R. David Albright and his wife Ruth of Salisbury, MA, Karen Plante of Katy, TX, Tammy R. Smith and her husband Steve of Bellville, TX, and Tracy A. Hogan of Waller, TX; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Rene Poirier and his wife Nancy; sisters, Doris Jaglowski and Theresa Gendron; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
