Haverhill — Harriet (Panteles) Pappas, 93, passed away quietly at Penacook Place in Haverhill on Thursday, June 27, 2013.
Harriet was born in Haverhill, the daughter of Milton and Mersini (Coparanis) Panteles. She was the loving wife of the late Peter W. Pappas for 49 years.
She is survived by her brother, Steven Panteles; her daughter, Gail Pappas Kolizeras; her two adoring grandchildren, Peter Steven Kolizeras, Electra Kolizeras Masi and her husband, Andrew. The joy of her later life were her two great-grandchildren, Lily Harriet and Andreas Masi. Harriet’s happiest days were spent as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lovingly shared her life with her devoted family.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3, at the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St., Haverhill, followed by a funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, were held on Tuesday.
