Haverhill — Giovanni DiGiacomo, 90, of Haverhill died Friday morning, January 4, at Wingate at Haverhill.
He was born in Bisegna, Italy, August 4, 1922, son of the late Donato and Assunta (Porreca) DiGiacomo.
Educated in Italy, Mr. DiGiacomo served in the Italian Army during World War II and was a P.O.W. for two years.
His survivors include a daughter, Mary S. Sebring of Shrewsbury, two sons, Louie D. DiGiacomo and Gino DiGiacomo both of Haverhill, siblings, Nunziata Priore of Italy, and Ida Basile of Haverhill, three grandchildren, Andrew M. Sebring and his wife Jessica, Christopher J. Sebring, Giovanni DiGiacomo, a great granddaughter, Zoe Maria Sebring, his former wife, Agata D. (D’Orazio) DiGiacomo, former son-in-law, Stephen Sebring and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. DiGiacomo was also the brother of the late Antonio DiGiacomo and Lucia DiGiulio.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday Jan. 9th at All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours at the H.L.
