Haverhill — David Barson, 91, of Haverhill, died on Saturday, February 9, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill with his by his side.
He was born in Manchester, NH, October 27, 1921, son of the late Joseph and Fannie (Berzofsky) Barson.
Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mr. Barson graduated from Haverhill High School, class of 1940. He served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1946 in both the European and Pacific Theaters. He owned and operated BDI Industries, a kitchen and bath remodeling company, for many years.
His survivors include his wife of 63 years, Beverly (Tooter) Barson of Haverhill, a son, Michael Barson and his wife Jean Behrend of Glen Ridge, NJ, two daughters, Sherry Barson of San Rafael, CA, Shauna Tuohey and her husband Kevin of Natick, five grandchildren, his sister-in-law, Jean Tooter and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial was in Children of Israel Cemetery, Haverhill.
