Michael J. "Marty" Martini, 57, of Bradford, died Tuesday, January 24, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill.
He was born in Beverly, February 7, 1954, son of Marguerite (Williams) Martini of Haverhill and the late Carl Martini. Educated in the Danvers school system, Marty graduated from St. John's Prep. in 1972. He earned his BA from St. Anslem's College attended Salem State College and received his PhD from Phoenix University.
For over 10 years he was employed at the Assistant Executive Director of Vinfin, Boston. More recently he was the Executive Director of Minuteman Arc, Concord, and was a Board of Director for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, and taught Psychology at Northern Essex Community College.
Besides his mother, his survivors include his wife of 25 years, Doreen (Guy) Martini, a son, Jesse Martini, a daughter, Jacqueline Martini, a sister, Judy and her husband Gene Cunningham all of Bradford, his mother-in-law, Elsa (Fiske) Guy of Salem, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday morning, January 30, at 10:30 in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Calling hours will be Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford.
