John H. Walsman, 60, of Haverhill died Monday, May 7, at Boston Medical Center, Boston.
He was born in Batesville, IN, December 8, 1951 son of the late Alfred and Sophia (Fraser) Walsman and was educated there.
During the Vietnam War he served in the United States Navy attaining the rank of E-2. John earned a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star, and a Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
His survivors include four brothers, Bradley R. Walsman and his wife Diane of Haverhill, James Walsman of Boston, William Walsman of Batesville, IN, Stephen Walsman of Greensburg, IN, a sister, Susan Fraser of Muncie, IN and several nieces and nephews including Colleen Franzen.
