Haverhill — Phyllis (Callahan) Low, 86, of Haverhill, passed away Thursday evening, May 29, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill.
She was born in Everett, Aug. 11, 1927 daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Houghton) Callahan.
Mrs. Low was educated in Ireland, and was very proud of her Irish heritage.
Phyllis was very religious and loved the sense of community the Catholic Church offered. She loved crocheting and cooking, especially for the most important people in her life, her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Low, who passed away in 1988.
Her survivors include her children, Diane and her husband, John Zink, Deborah and her husband, William Clark, all of Newton, N.H., William Low of Middleton, Mass., and Donna Low-Burgess of Haverhill; three grandchildren, Lorrie Clark, Angela Zink, and Hunter Burgess, 10 loving siblings, and countless nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 4, at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue St., Haverhill. Interment will be private and there were no calling hours. Arrangements were by H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford.
