Bradford — Alice (Zalar) Grenier, 92, of Bradford, passed away May 29, at Lawrence General Hospital.
She was born in Lawrence on Nov. 13, 1921 and was educated in the Lawrence schools. Her family was the center of her life and she enjoyed sewing and cooking.
The family would like to give special thanks to staff at Nevins Adult Day Care and the many friendships she made there.
Alice was the wife of the late William Grenier who died in 2002, and is survived by her sons, Raymond of Derry, N.H., Daniel and his wife, Pamela of New Hampshire, and Robert and his wife, Ellen of Bradford; her sister, Sarah Grenier of Salem, N.H.; five grandchildren, Sarah and her husband, Nathaniel Bragdon, Katie and her husband, Craig Harrison, James Grenier and his wife, Samantha, Victoria and her husband, Fernando Nunez and Samuel Grenier; five great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Josephine Boutin.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours were held on Sunday, June 1, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (Route 125), Bradford. Her funeral service was held on Monday, June 2, at 11 a.m. at the Bradford Funeral Home. Interment was in St. Mary Cemetery, Lawrence.
