Haverhill — Howard S. Quickley, 84, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away Saturday morning, June 7 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mr. Quickley was predeceased by his loving wife, Effie E. (Simmonds) Quickley; a son, Gregory Quickley; siblings, Harold, Anna and Richard Quickley, Viola Moses; and a brother-in-law, Fletcher Carter.
He is survived by his sons, Richard E. and his wife, Helen Quickley of Bradford and Scott L. Batchelder of Haverhill; three sisters, Mary Kee and Pearl Perry of Haverhill, and Janet Carter of Bradford; a sister-in-law, Helena Brice of Bermuda; four grandchildren, Whitney E. Perez, Reese G. Quickley, Jared H.S. Quickley, and Megan A. Batchelder, all of Haverhill; two great-grandchildren, Liliana J. Jimenez and Xavier A. Perez, as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 26 White St., Haverhill, on Friday, June 13, from 1 to 2 p.m. His funeral service will take place following the calling hours at 2 p.m. Burial is private and at the convenience of his family.
