Haverhill — Angie A. Manganais, 73, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Hanna Dustin Nursing Center with her family by her side.
She was born in Haverhill, March 2, 1940, daughter of the late James N. and Katherine P. (Pappas) Manganais.
Angie was educated in the Haverhill public school system and graduated Haverhill High School with the class of 1958. After graduating High School she attended the M. Fazio Institute of Beauty Culture, and owned and operated Anne’s Beauty Salon on Winter Street in Haverhill.
Her survivors include two brothers, Emanuel G. and his wife, Amy J. Manganais, of Raymond, NH, Nicholas J. and his wife, Leyla Manganais, of Palos Park, IL; and four nephews, Christopher, Thomas, James and Alexander.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral was held on Sept. 14 from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St., Haverhill. Interment followed in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours at the Funeral Home were Sept. 13.
