Plaistow, NH — Ida (Varnavas) Manikas, 96, Plaistow, N.H., died Friday, April 12, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
Her survivors include her husband of 64 years, Charles S. Manikas of Plaistow, N.H.; a son, Stuart Manikas of Plaistow, N.H.; two daughters, Victoria Hastie and her husband, Robert Hastie of Centerville, Va., and Judith Sparanges of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Jessica Hastie and Christopher Sparanges; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Olga Varnavas, Michael Varnavas, Catherine Tsiopanas, and Alec Varnavas.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17, at 10 a.m. from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the Holy Apostles, Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St., Haverhill. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
