Mrs. Artemis E. (Coucouvitis) Apostle, 93, of East Hampstead, NH passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH. She was born in Haverhill on Sept. 29, 1918, daughter of the late James K. and Irene (Belchos) Coucouvitis. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, attended Walnut Hill Prep School, and Brown University receiving her BA in Music. Mrs. Apostle was a talented musician and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She had been a resident of Iowa for 24 years.
She was the wife of the late George Apostle, who died in 1968 and is survived by her sisters Elinore Coucouvitis of East Hampstead, NH and Dorothy Jenis of Manchester, NH as well as four nephews and a niece.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral on Thursday, April 19th at 11:00 at the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154-156 Winter St. Haverhill. An hour of visitation will precede the service on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. Interment will follow in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
