Triantifilia "Rosie" Skrivanos, 77


Haverhill — Triantafilia “Rosie” Skrivanos, 77, of Haverhill, died Wednesday morning, March 5, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

She was born in Sukea, Laconia, Greece on September 14, 1936, daughter of the late Theodore and Anastasia (Stapas) Volis. She was educated in Greece and moved to Montreal in 1963, where she married her husband, Antonios K. Skrivanos in 1964.

Besides her husband of 49 years, she is survived by her three sons, Konstantino A. “Konse” and his wife, Lorna, of North Andover, Theodore A. and George A., both of Haverhill; brother, Baslios Volis of Montreal; sister, Panagiota Exarhakos of Athens, Greece; two grandchildren, Victoria R. and Nikolas A. as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maria Kritikos.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral Service was held on Monday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at the Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St., Haverhill. Interment followed in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, were held Sunday, March 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Holy Apostles Church, 154-156 Winter St., Haverhill, MA 01830.
