Bradford — Fletcher (Fletch) Sherman Carter, 83, of Bradford, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Merrimack Valley Hospice.
He was born in Newburyport on April 22, 1930, son of the late Fletcher and Ida (Sherman) Carter.
His survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Janet Elizabeth (Quickley) Carter of Bradford; two sons, Keith R. Carter and his wife, Sharon, of Merrimac, Bruce S. Carter of Bradford; two grandchildren, Keith R. Carter, Jr. and his wife, Rachel, of Newburyport, Drew F. Carter of Newburyport and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Funeral Service was held on Monday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
