Haverhill — Leona H. (Trebach) Sirkman, 81, of Bradford died Friday, January 4 at Mass General Hospital, Boston. She was born in Gloucester, December 14, 1931, daughter of the late Morris and Vina (Sandler) Trebach. Her family moved to Lowell when she was young and Mrs. Sirkman was educated in the Lowell school system, graduating from Lowell High School, class of 1951. She was employed at the former Cherry & Webb, Lowell, as an inspector at the former AT&T, and also as a Nurse’s Aide. A member of Temple Emanu-El, Haverhill, she was a member of the Inspirational Singers, a group who visits local nursing homes and entertains. Her survivors include a daughter, Rhonda J. Bombard and her husband David of Haverhill, a son, Rabbi Jeffrey J. Sirkman and his wife Susan, of Larchmont, NY; two brothers, Arnold S. Trebach of MD, Malcolm Trebach of Tyngsborough, a sister, Frances Bloom of FL, seven grandchildren, Aaron, Alexander, Gabriel and Sophie Sirkman, Melissa, Lindsey and Matthew Bombard, and several nieces and nephews. She will be ever cherished by all who loved her as a source of joy and laughter, sweetness and song.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral Service was held on Sunday, January 6th at Temple Emanu-El, 514 Main St., Haverhill. Burial was in Montefiore Cemetery, Pelham, NH. Arrangements were by the H.L.
