HAVERHILL, MA — Richard "Dick" Brandolini, 80, died Friday, April 19, 2013, at Penacook Place following a long illness.
He was born in Haverhill, son of Gino and Philomena (Tuccolo) Brandolilni. He was educated in Haverhill Schools and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Garibaldi Club, the Victor Emmanual Lodge Order of the Sons of Italy, and All Saints Parish.
He was the owner of serveral local businesses, including Salisbury Five and Dime, Walsh's General Store, Brando's Resturant from 1973 to 1976, Cardinal Resturant in Bradford from 1973 to 1977, The Studio Resturant, The Tap, Riverside Resturant, Brando's Sub Shop, the Colony Lounge, and the Bella Vista. He also worked in the local shoe industry and was a driver for Baystate Limo.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Bayek) Brandolini; three children, son, Richard Brandolini and his companion, Susan Clarke of Haverhill; William Brandolini and his wife, Linda of Haverhill; and a daughter, Carol Baker of Chester, N.H.; and grandchildren, Scott, Vincent, and William Brandolini, Jr. of Haverhill, Allison Baker of Chester, N.H., Michael Baker of Fremont, N.H., and Sara Malagodi and her husband, Charles of Fremont, N.H. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Jean Lebro.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Paul C. Rogers Family-Scatamacchia Funeral Home, 334 Main St., Haverhill.
