Haverhill, MA — Harold A. Vadeboncoeur, 92, died peacefully Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at Methuen Health and Rehab Center.
He was a WWII Army veteran and a longtime employee of Ted’s Leather of Haverhill.
He always had a joke to tell and was quite the “prankster,” especially with the children. Ironically he was born April 1 (April Fools Day)!
He is survived by his beloved wife, Beatrice (Roy); his sister, Mary, and husband, Richard Amazeen of Haverhill; his two sons, Harold of Salisbury, and estranged wife, Janice (Thompson) of Haverhill; and Walter and wife, Eileen (Casey) of Lawrence; his four daughters, Arlene of Bradenton, Fla., and predeceased husband, Les Peters of Haverhill; Beatrice "Honey" and husband, Robert Curtis of Haverhill; Anita and husband, Robert Ferguson of Haverhill; and Joyce and husband, Fred Boudreau of N. Conway, N.H.; and he will be fondly remembered as “Pepe” by several generations of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: No services will be held. Memorial donations may be made in Harold's name to The Alzheimer’s Organization at www.alz.org.
