Groveland — Joshua Joseph Hetel, 30, of Groveland, passed away unexpectedly September 29th.
He was born in Haverhill on Aug. 20, 1983, and was a graduate of Keefe Vo-Tech High School in Framingham, MA. At the age of 17, Joshua enlisted in the U.S. Army serving for over 12 years and was honorably discharged at the age of 29. He did two tours overseas in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Joshua was employed as a corrections officer at Federal Medical Center at Ft. Devens.
Joshua is survived by his mother, Jayne R. Gore of Groveland; his fiancée, Alyssa Masucci; sisters, Alexis A. and her husband, Eddie Revas, of Bradford and Janel J. Hetel of Haverhill; his brother, Andrew J. Clark of Groveland; stepfather, John P. Clark of Framingham, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Oct. 5th at St. John the Baptist Church, 110 Lincoln Ave., Haverhill.
Interment with Military Honors followed in Riverview Cemetery, Groveland.
Calling hours were held Oct. 4th at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill.
