Bradford — Gustave “Gus” Basque, Jr., 64, of Bradford died Wednesday, October 16 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill.
He was born in Haverhill, June 22, 1949, son of the late Gustave and M. Rita (Perry) Basque.
He earned his licenses as an Electrician, Power Plant Operator, and also Third Engineer and Sprinkler System Installer.
His survivors include his wife of 42 years, Kathleen (Lowes) Basque of Bradford, a daughter, Melanie and her husband John Muller of Massapequa, NY, a sister, Roberta and her husband John W. Conte of Haverhill, a brother, Charles E. and his wife Maria Basque of Haverhill, a granddaughter, Jazmyne Elly Muller, two nieces, Tara Salvi and Nicole Caulkin, two nephews, John Conte Jr. and Justin Basque, his mother-in-law, Eleanor F. Lowes of Haverhill, a brother-in-law, William H. and his wife Ruth Lowes, two sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen and Victoria A. Lowes all of Bradford.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Funeral was held on Tuesday from the H.l. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. James Church, Haverhill. Burial followed in Maplewood North Parish Cemetery, Plaistow, NH. Calling hours at the Bradford Funeral home were Monday.
