Haverhill, MA — Concetta (LoConte) Brown, 80, lifelong Haverhill resident, died peacefully on Monday morning at Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 26, 1933, in Haverhill, Concetta was one of two children of the late Pasquale and Olympia (Marciano) LoConte. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School.
She is survived by her six children, Paula Shea and husband, Leonard, of Methuen, Pat Brown of Haverhill, Robert Brown and wife, Donna, of Groveland, Susan Melanson of Haverhill, Harry Brown of Westford, and Ann Marie Simpson of Haverhill; six grandchildren, Ryan M. Shea and Meghan M. Murdock of Methuen, Sarah Melanson and Jacob Melanson of Haverhill, and Nina Gouthier and Brandon Gouthier of Haverhill; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Andrew; her beloved brother, Carmine LoConte and wife, Mary, of Haverhill; two aunts; several nieces and nephews; many cousins; and dear friends.
She will be missed by them all, and the memories she leaves behind will forever warm the hearts of those who loved her so dearly.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours at Paul C. Rogers-Scatamacchia Funeral Home, 334 Main Street, Haverhill, will be on Thursday, May 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John The Baptist Church, 110 Lincoln Avenue, Haverhill, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
