RAYMOND, N.H. — Mr. Harry O. Woodard, 89, of Raymond, N.H., died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at the Manchester Veteran's Hospital, Manchester, N.H.
He was born in Hampstead, N.H., Sept. 21, 1920. During World War II, he served in the Army as a Military Policeman. He was employed as a laborer for local roofing companies and also in local junkyards. More recently, Mr. Woodard was employed as a groundskeeper at Canobie Lake Park, Salem, N.H., from where he retired.
He was the husband of the late Dorothy L. (Bassett) Woodard; and father of the late Thomas W. Woodard. His survivors include three sons, Michael and his wife Tanya Woodard of Maine, Harry O. and his wife Donna Woodard, Jr. of Barnstead, N.H., Richard F. and his wife Charlene Woodard of Haverhill; a daughter-in-law and caretaker, Carol Woodard and her life partner, George Gorman of Raymond, N.H.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
