Haverhill — Viola (Quickley) Moses, 80, of Haverhill, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
She was born in Haverhill on Oct. 23, 1932, daughter of the late Caesar and Viola (Schencks) Quickley.
Viola was educated in the Haverhill schools, graduating from HHS, class of 1950. She was employed at the former Western Electric and for over 25 years was an administrative assistant at the Haverhill Housing Authority from which she retired.
She is survived by her children, Karen A. Moses of Methuen, Brian L. Moses and his wife, Kelly, John B. Moses, Roger E. Moses and his wife, Natalie, all of Haverhill, James R. Moses and his wife, Jacquelyn, of Andover; their late father, Albert F. Moses; her brother, Howard Quickley of Bradford; her sisters, Mary Kee of Haverhill, Pearl Perry and Janet Carter, both of Bradford; 8 grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours were held Monday, July 8, at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Funeral services were private with interment in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
