Methuen — John Mocera, 99, of Methuen, died Monday evening, April 22, at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen.
He was born in New York City, August 8, 1913, son of the late James and Jenny Mocera, and was educated in the New York school system.
He was the husband for 59 years of the late Mary M. (Sanfilippo) Mocera who died in 2009, and father of the late Richard Mocera who died in 2000. His survivors include a son, James and his wife, Maureen Mocera, of Haverhill; and a grandson, Joseph Mocera of Belmont, Mass.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family with entombment in Holy Family Columbarium of St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill & Bradford.
