Plaistow, NH — Boghos S (Paul) Tavitian, age 80, and a 50 year resident of Plaistow, NH, died Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Haverhill, MA son of the late Sarkis and Zarouhi (Hagopian) Tavitian, grew up in the Wood School neighborhood of Bradford, MA.
Boghos Paul is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife Sylvia of Plaistow, NH, son David Paul and wife Diane (Betz) Tavitian of Hampton, NH; daughter Debra and husband John Megrdichian of Cranston, RI, son Daniel Paul Tavitian of Manchester, NH; sister A. Virginia Tavitian of Bradford; brother Joseph and Brenda Tavitian of Bradford, MA; grandchildren Melissa and Peter Megrdichian of Cranston, RI; Dillon Tavitian of Hampton, NH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and closely related family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral was held on Wednesday morning, Oct. 10 in St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenain Apostolic Church, Haverhill. Calling hours at the Church were held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00PM . Interment with military honors followed in the Plaistow, NH Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe Building Fund, P.O. Box 8069, Ward Hill, MA 01835. Arrangements are by the H.L.
