HAVERHILL — Mr. J. Emerson Wall, 87, of Haverhill, died Monday, Aug 23, 2010 at the Prescott House in North Andover.
He was born in Lawrence, Sept 25, 1922, son of the late Joseph Vignan and Ella Wall. Mr. Wall was educated in the Lawrence Public Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy and served during World War II.
He was a recipient of the Purple Heart, World War II Victory Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the American Campaign Medal. Prior to his retirement he had been employed a cook and prior to his retirement had been employee at the former Den in No Andover where he worked for 15 years.
He was married to the late Mary Ann (Tarallo) Wall he is survived a nephew Joel Boutin of Georgetown
