Haverhill — Anne M. (Guard) Callahan, 87, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 1, 2013.
Anne was the beloved wife of the late John E. Callahan with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. She was the beloved mother of Maura (Bill) Callahan Moccia, Noreen Callahan Carifio, both of Bradford, Eileen (Jim) Callahan McCarthy, and Kathy (Tom) Callahan Timmins both of Andover. She was the proud grandmother of 9— the late John Moccia, Andrew, Mary and Peter Moccia; Julie and Chrissy Carifio; Kaleigh and Conor Timmins; and John McCarthy. Anne also leaves her sister-in-law, whom she considered the sister she never had, Joanne Callahan Muldoon of Andover, whose unwavering devotion to Anne was such a gift. Anne was predeceased by her brother, John Guard.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral was held Tuesday from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Hearts Church. Interment followed in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours were Monday at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home.
