HAVERHILL — John "Paul" Sosnowski, 63, of Haverhill, passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
John was born in Salem, on Feb. 14, 1947, to the late John and Pauline Sosnowski. He graduated in 1965 from Beverly High School and then attended Montserrat School of Art. He used his artist talent in many ways throughout his life.
He had his own sign company for a while which he could do from home and be with his family. He also worked for the Salem Fire Department for many years and served his country with the U.S. Air Force.
Paul is survived by his son, Matthew Sosnowski and his wife Jessica of Bradford; his daughters, Kate Sherry and her husband Mike of Bradford, and Cheryl Weight of England; as well as his five granddaughters, Lexi, Lauren, Lauren, Kaitlynn, and Chloe. Paul was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend and he will be deeply missed by all.
