Jean J. Karambelas, 64

Haverhill — Jean J. Karambelas, 64, of Boston and formerly of Haverhill, died unexpectedly Friday night, May 18, at Tufts Medical Center, Boston. She was born in Haverhill, July 4, 1947 daughter of Connie (Terzis) Karambelas and the late George Karambelas. She was educated in the Haverhill school system, Fisher Junior College and Northeastern University. She worked as a Systems Analyst for Bank of Boston and John Hancock where she retired from in 1997. Jean was a resident in Boston’s where she served on the Board of Directors of her apartment building and was a member of the Back Bay Association. She studied piano, was an avid reader and enjoyed international travel.

Her survivors include her mother, Constance (Terzis) Karambelas of Peabody, her twin sister, Joan and her husband Vic Taylor of Boothbay, ME, her only niece, Abby Eskin and her husband Zak Smith, a great niece Zoe Eskin.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, May 22, at 1:00 in the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St., Haverhill. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
