Haverhill — Martha A. (Rea) Toscano, 74, of Haverhill, passed away at her residence December 28, 2012.
She was born in Worcester, on April 12, 1938, daughter of the late, Gertrude Swanson Sykes. She was the Director at the Gilead House in association with Emmaus Inc, from which she retired. Upon her retirement, Martha Toscano volunteered at Common Ground Ministries with New Life Christian Assembly of God. She was also an avid reader. She was the wife of the late, Carl J. Toscano who died in 1999, and the mother of the late, Jennifer M. Toscano who died in 1994.
Her survivors include, three daughters, Nancy Levesque of Naples Fla., Suzanne M. Ritter of Haverhill and Valerie R. Toscano of Amesbury; five grandchildren, Robert, Renee and Ryan Levesque, David Ritter and Kate Carleton; two great grandchildren, Alanna and Cameron Carleton.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service, Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 3 p.m. at New Life Christian Assembly of God, 966 Main St. Haverhill. Entombment will be in Elmwood Mausoleum, Bradford. Arrangements are by H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill & Bradford.
