Lake Placid, Fla. — Doris Marie Holt, 83, Lake Placid, Fla., passed away on February 2, 2013 in North Port, Fla. under the loving care of her family and staff at Quality Health of North Port. Mrs. Holt was born on November 13, 1929 to her parents Harold and Celena Field in Georgetown. She moved to Lake Placid, Fla. in 1988 from Georgetown, with her husband, Louis. She was of the protestant faith and was very devoted to her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Louis M. Holt; four sons, Raymond Holt, Leonard Holt both of New Hampshire, Nelson Holt of Florida and William Holt of Massachusetts; six daughters, Claire Guilmette of Florida; Sandra Carey of Florida, Sherri Garnache of Massachusetts, Dawn Harper of New Hampshire, Lisa McGibbon of Florida and Lori Tanner of Massachusetts; a brother, Robert Field of Massachusetts; a sister, Marlene Warner of New Hampshire; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001 in her loving memory.
