Last week's photo was of Lafayette Square, looking from Winter Street.
The area was easily recognized, and it awakened many memories.
Christine Perrin wrote from Indiana and said the picture "helped to lessen my homesickness for beautiful New England."
Robert Scamporino wrote from Cape Coral, Fla., that his grandmother lived at 137 Hilldale Ave., just out of range of the photo, for 40 years.
Jim Murphy noted the picture showed the building the Pentucket Players were moving out of, referring to a front-page story that broke in last week's edition of The Gazette.

The guess of Robert Takesian was not correct, but he noted he had not been credited with correct guesses the two previous weeks.
