Last week's Thanks for the Memories photo brought many answers, all correct.
The photo showed the old City Hall, taken from the Court Street side.
Correct responses were received from: Nancy D. Hill, Robert Takesian, Lloyd Smith, Leslie Salach, J. Cashman Jr., Christine Cortes Perrin, Harold Harriman and David Dutton.
Nearly all responses noted that the Haverhill Police Department was located on the ground floor on the side of the building facing the camera and that an auditorium on the third floor was used for wrestling matches and other community events.
Dutton remembers attending turkey dinners put on by The Haverhill Gazette for all its newspaper carriers. "Good memories," he said.
