Thanks for making 'Unlock the Magic' a success

To the editor:

The members of Haverhill's Cultural Treasures want to thank the public, generous donors and all volunteers for making the May 23 "Unlock the Magic" Event a grand success.

This event would not have been possible without the trolley sponsors - Pentucket Bank, Lowell Five, Merrimack Valley Hospital and Haverhill Bank. Thank you to the knowledgeable trolley tour guides Jean MacDougall Tattan, Elinor Cameron, Gus Reusch and Jay Cleary.

We want to offer a huge thank you to our restaurant sponsors who supplied the food and drinks; and the business community and individual supporters, too numerous to list here, who donated prizes for the Treasure Chest.

We would also like to thank the magician Greg McAdams and musicians Gerald Johnston and his daughter Faith who entertained and the many hardworking volunteers who made the "Magic" happen.

We would like to extend special thanks to the Haverhill Gazette, the Eagle Tribune, Jim Fonseca of CompuArt, Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce and Team Haverhill for promoting the event. And we would also like to thank the public who supported the event with their attendance and positive feedback.

Thank you to all, from your Treasures Winnekenni Castle, Whittier Birthplace, Tattersall Farm, Haverhill Firefighting Museum and the Buttonwoods Museum.

Jan Williams,
