It might seem like summer has just arrived, but already the Haverhill High football team is preparing to take to the gridiron for the 2013 season.
It promises to be a big year. After snapping out of a long losing streak and finding some success last year, the Hillies are looking to turn the corner and become a winning team.
Team members are currently involved in a conditioning program at the high school — paying their dues with hard work that they hope translates to football success.
Much of it is traditional football training, with a focus on weightlifting. But the boys are also working in some alternate forms of training, such as yoga.
