---- — JV Floor Hockey League, Game 3

Sparky’s Wings & Things took out 99 Restaurant & Pub 12-5. Daniel Howell played to win, scoring five goals for Sparky’s. Tyler Byram was the second highest scorer for Sparky’s with three points. Jacob Ruperto scored four goals, all in the third period for the 99 Restaurant & Pub, but it wasn’t enough to steal the victory.

Align Credit Union triumphed over JNR Gutters 6-3. At the end of the first period it was 2-2, which made the second period intense. Franklin Libby and James Darwin both scored a goal at the end of the second period for Align Credit Union, which took the lead 4-2. Braden Dorr and Kevin McNally both scored a goal in the third period to secure the win for Align Credit Union, which remains undefeated.

Major League Floor Hockey, Game 3

Pistone Containers fell to Twomey & Legare Contracting 6-3. Tommy Legare and Aiden Corcoran both scored a goal in the first period for Twomey & Legare, taking a 2-0 lead. Things quickly changed for Pistone Containers in the second period when McKayla Dingle and Jade Banks both scored a goal to tie the game 2-2. But Nathan Libby scored two final goals for Twomey & Legare to secure the victory.

Malcolm Insurance blew out Dempsey Insurance 6-2. Jason McKeon, Walker Deschenes and Bryan Carter all scored a goal for Malcolm Insurance in the first period, while Enrique Alvarado scored one goal for Dempsey Insurance. By the end of the second period the score was 3-1 with Malcolm Insurance still in the lead. In the third period, Jayden Arias hit two goals that secured the victory for Malcolm Insurance.

American Resource Staffing buried Messinger Chiropractic 4-0. Adrian Andrade, Tito Delgado, William Braffitt and Ricky Flores all scored a goal in the first period for American Resource Staffing. By the end of the first period the score was 4-0. Neither team scored a goal in the second or third periods and American Resource Staffing walked away with the victory.

Major League Basketball, Game 3

JDR’s Auto/Welding finally put an end to its losing streak in a 47-45 victory over Lucky’s Pizza. Evan Carlisle showed great point-guard abilities, and scored 13 points for JDR’s Auto/Welding. Nazair Dabreo played a strong game for Lucky’s Pizza and scored 15 points in the showdown. Jason McKeon also scored 15 points for Lucky’s Pizza, and made great passes throughout the game. The game came down to foul shots hit by Evan Carlisle in the fourth quarter to secure the win for JDR’s Auto/Welding.

Joshua Santacruz put on a show for Early Contractors, which took the win over GL Enterprises 49-44. Santacruz demonstrated great athletic abilities as he drove it to the rim, scoring a total of 21 points for Early Contractors. Carmello Cintron improved with 14 rebounds and 12 points for GL Enterprises, which trailed the entire game. Early Contractors remain undefeated.

Game 2 for Major League Floor Hockey was postponed to January due to snow.
