LJ Construction took the victory over Loyalty Barbershop by two points. At the end of the first half Loyalty Barbershop was up 10 points, but it wasn’t over yet. Eduardo Gonzalez and Scott Tavares both scored 11 points for Loyalty Barbershop and demonstrated great ball movement. The score was tied and, with three seconds left, Ian Kessel raced down the court and scored the winning layup for LJ Construction. The final score was 48-46.
High Street Market’s Mitch Rudis and Jeremiah Downer scored 24 points each against Early Contractors. Hassan Cathey scored 26 points for Early Contractors, but it wasn’t enough for the victory. Alex Perez grabbed many rebounds for High Street Market, scoring 18 points. High Street Market won 79-67.
T-Stop Barbershop played with a strong team philosophy and took a 66-59 win over Tony’s Pizza. Navin Cruz played a huge role with 26 points for T-Stop Barbershop. Gage Alicea scored 27 points and hit four three-pointers for Tony’s Pizza, but it wasn’t enough. Evan Curtios showed great rebounding skills for T-Stop Barbershop and scored 15 points.
Marcus Downer scored a season-high 31 points for High Street Market against Loyalty Barbershop, but it wasn’t enough to take the win. Mitch Rudis demonstrated defensive skills and did a great job shutting down the tall Eduardo Gonzalez for High Street Market, but Scott Tavares and Kyle Trask both picked up the slack for Loyalty Barbershop. Kyle Trask scored 20 points and Scott Tavares scored 19 points. Loyalty Barbershop won 68-62.
T-Stop Barbershop continued its winning streak over LJ Construction, putting T-Stop in first place. Damian Ellen stepped up his offense for T-Stop Barbershop and scored 20 points. Navin Cruz scored 13 points and showed great passing skills for T-Stop Barbershop. Elias Sanchez scored 19 points for LJ Construction, but it wasn’t enough to win. The final score was 58-48.
Tony’s Pizza suffered its second loss to Early Contractors. Tony’s Pizza had the lead at half time by 11 points, but Hassan Cathey came out strong in the second half with 14 points (22 points in total). Gage Alicea scored 43 points for Tony’s Pizza. Early Contractors won 71-68.
Navin Cruz, Justin Camargo and Evan Curtios demonstrated teamwork for T-Stop Barbershop and triumphed over Loyalty Barbershop. Cruz played a clever game and scored 24 points with ease for T-Stop Barbershop. Kyle Rocker and Scott Tavares both hit three, three-pointers for Loyalty Barbershop, but it wasn’t enough for the win. T-Stop Barbershop was the team to beat with its third consecutive win, which kept them in first place. The final score was 58-53.
Mitch Rudis played a big role in the win for High Street Market with several blocks and steals. He also scored 25 points. Jeremiah Downer stepped up his offensive rebounds and scored 18 points for High Street Market. Tony’s Pizza trailed by six points by the end of the first half. Gage Alicea struggled to hit any baskets from behind the arc and failed to tie the game. High Street Market won 58-46.
Early Contractors took the win over LJ Construction in a seesaw battle. Stephon Allen and Brandon Suero were both strong, scoring 14 points each for Early Contractors. But Elias Sanchez of LJ Construction didn’t give up the win so easily, scoring 24 points. Early Contractors were down one point until Kenny Plante hit a three-pointer, which gave them the lead by two points with just 22 seconds left. Ian Kessel went for the win with a three-point shot for LJ Construction, but missed. The final score was 55-53.
Loyalty Barbershop came out strong against Tony’s Pizza and kept a 15 point lead from the start. Andrew Auguste stepped up for Loyalty Barbershop, scoring a season high 29 points. Eduardo Gonzalez was strong on defense with 12 blocks and 17 points for Loyalty Barbershop. Gage Alicea scored 43 points for Tony’s Pizza, but it wasn’t enough. Loyalty Barbershop won 85-70.
High Street Market showed great teamwork and took an overtime win over LJ Construction. High Street Market was up 12 points with 1:54 left, but Elias Sanchez hit five three-pointers to tie the game. High Street Market scored 15 points in the three-minute overtime period while LJ Construction scored just two points. Mitch Rudis played another great game, scoring a team high 23 points for High Street Market. The final score was 72-59.
Early Contractors put an end to T-Stop Barbershop’s undefeated record. Brandon Suero played well, scoring a team-high 15 points for Early Contractors. Hassan Cathey showec great passing skills for Early Contractors and also scored 14 points. Evan Curtios showed great rebounding ability for T-Stop Barbershop, scoring 25 points. Early Contractors won 55-50.
LJ Construction beat Tony’s Pizza in an overtime showdown. LJ Construction was down by three points with 16 seconds left in the second half when Hector Vasquez hit a three-pointer to tie the score and take the game into overtime. Elias Sanchez scored a total of 28 points, with six points in the overtime period for LJ Construction. Eddie Cardona scored 24 points and Piero scored 22 points for Tony’s Pizza, which suffered its fifth consecutive lost. The final score was 81-77.
High Street Market took the first place bracket with a victory over T-Stop Barbershop. Mitch Rudis and Marcus Downer both scored 16 points for High Street Market in the showdown. Kyle Trask picked up the slack, scoring 22 points for Loyalty Barbershop. Scott Tavares put on a show with six three-pointers for Loyalty Barbershop, and scored a total of 26 points. High Street Market suffered its second consecutive loss. The final score was 74-65.
