Baseball and Softball Fundraiser: The Atkinson (N.H.) Baseball and Softball League will hold its second annual Jim Plunkett night June 1 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Amvets, 576 Primrose St., Haverhill. Tickets are $25 each. A table of eight is $175. Proceeds benefit the league. Enjoy a night of music, dancing raffles and laughs. Plunkett (not the football player) is a master at getting a crowd going with games, trivia and more. Scholarship: Community Action has extended the application deadline for separate $1000 Gerald Goldman Memorial Scholarships to be presented to an area high school student and to an area GED recipient. Seniors, high school graduates, and GED recipients from Haverhill, Amesbury, Newburyport, Salisbury, Groveland, Georgetown, Boxford, Rowley, Newbury, West Newbury and Merrimac are eligible to apply. Seniors from area high schools can receive an application from their guidance counselors. High school graduates and GED recipients can request an application by calling CAI at 978-373-1971 or online at www.communityactioninc.org. Completed applications are due no later than May 25th.

Relay For Life Golf Tournament: Relay for Life team to hold golf tournament June 2. The Relay For Life of Haverhill team, Team Turner will hold its first Dave Turner Memorial Golf Tournament on June 2 at the Bradford Country Club, 201 Chadwick Road, Bradford. The team plans to hold this event annually. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. Shotgun start is at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $125 per golfer and $500 per team. There is also a $100 hole sponsorship opportunity. Dinner is after the tournament. More information is available by contacting Ryan Turner at 978-478-8225.

Dolly n' Me Princess Tea: Winnekenni Castle will holds its annual spring Dolly n' Me Princess Tea June 10 at 1 p.m. This signature castle event is an opportunity for young girls to wear their frilly finest and have a special grown-up day. The event will feature fancy finger food and treats, tea from fancy pots, photo opportunities and a visit with the Princess of Winnekenni Castle. A genuine American Girl Doll will be raffled. Doll clothes and other favorite items will be available for purchase. This event is recommended for children ages 3 and up. Tickets, available online in advance, are $20 per child and $25 per adult.
