The Garrison Junior Tour ended with a playoff hole in the Girls Division.
Jordyn Arakelian of North Andover pulled off a one-shot win on Hole No. 1 against a New Hampshire standout — 10-year-old Lauren Thibodeau.
Nick Hennessey, 12, shot an impressive 26. He's played for quite a few years at Garrison and has learned from Ted Murphy and his son, Kevin Murphy. Originally from Haverhill, Nick has participated in Garrison's Saturday morning clinics for four years.
Third place in the 12-14 division was Tyler McCormack, who has come in in the Top 3 in all four Garrison summer tour tournaments and played a consistent game in the final matchup.
Despite a drizzly rain, and cooler August weather, 42 participants played in the summer's most "well played" tournament yet.
Tour organizer Kevin Murphy said the scores were the best yet, showing much improvement in the club's Junior golfers as the summer wound down.
