They sang, danced, played games and had other family fun — all in the name of God.
Hillstock 2014, a festival of uplifting music, was presented last weekend at GAR Park by New Life Christian Assembly of God.
The event featured contemporary Christian bands and soloists.
A show on Saturday had live music, videos, dance teams, rap, Christian bands, soloists and a puppet show for children. The event also featured face painting, hair braiding, pony rides, a dunk tank, snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs and drinks, all for free. There were free raffles of items such as bicycles, school backpacks, CDs and sports items.
New Life Christian Assembly had religious services on Sunday featuring performances of the Brockton Men’s Teen Challenge Choir. Also on Sunday, the church hosted a picnic.
