Past Finders held a workshop focusing on 19th century quilting at the Buttonwoods Museum during school vacation. The workshop was in preparation for the Haverhill Historical Society's "Haverhill's Women in the Civil War" exhibit which will be on display this summer. Activities included stitching squares for doll-sized quilts, and viewing quilts and Civil War artifacts in the museum's collection. February 23, 2012

Haverhill police and fire and the Red Cross celebrated National Night Out with free food, games and entertainment for Haverhill residents at Swasey Field recently. The event was co-sponsored by the police and the Haverhill Target Store. National Night Out is a community-police partnership and sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch in the United States and Canada.
