Hill View Montessori's Middle School class is all seventh-graders this year and next year will also have an eighth grade.
The teachers are called by first name, not last like all other Montessori grades.
There aren't many differences between the Middle School and the rest of the school.
The few that there are, are these:
Middle School has Spanish class.
Coach Logan rewards them with free pizza for lunch
High school-styled teaching with different teachers and rooms for different subjects
They are assigned to doing certain work at a certain time, unlike the elementary kids
Middle Schoolers get more say in how they spend their time
They only have an hour for lunch and recess
As you can see, we are very different from each other, but we all follow the same Montessori rules.
