This elective is called gymnastics.
In gymnastics there are many people that enjoy going on the balance beam, the bars and lots of other things.
I interviewed a girl named Aristnery Martinez.
What she likes about gymnastics is that she learned how to do a cartwheel and a handstand.
I also interviewed one of the gymnastics teachers and she said that she has been teaching gymnastics for 12 years and she loves to teach kids on the bars and the balance beam.

Maeve Hess is a lower elementary student. Her elective is rock climbing.
When asked, "Do you like rock climbing?" she replied, "Yes, because you can exercise without doing too much."
Maeve said that if she had the chance to do rock climbing again, she would.
Hill View Montessori's Middle School class is all seventh-graders this year and next year will also have an eighth grade.
The teachers are called by first name, not last like all other Montessori grades.
