Try as they might to be tame, there was just too much excitement for the Wildcats.

Last week's graduation night for Whittier Regional High's Class of 2020, while not packed with a roaring crowd as in past years' commencements, still had the students amped up.

Wearing big smiles hidden by masks required by the pandemic, many of them with unique markings, the graduates refused to let the health crisis get in the way of the celebration they earned.

Social distancing couldn't silence the cheers and applause shared by the students and their families.
