Last week’s photo (left) is a 2005 image of Lawrence Cote, then-75, packing away his tools after calling it quits as the city's last remaining shoe manufacturer. We received no correct responses. We did receive correct responses from Mary Kranyak to a previous Memories photo of the First Parish Church; from Milton Taylor, Walter Ziminski and Jim Grant to a previous Memories photo of the old steamboat Merrimac docked near downtown; from Frank Insero to a previous Memories photo of Professor Bill's Shoeshine Parlor on Washington Street in the late 1800s or early 1900s; and from Dot Roy to a previous Memories photo of the Kennedy store on Merrimack Street that sold items such as butter and eggs.

Thanks to all who participated.
