Rebuilding Together Greater Haverhill is beginning its 19th year of service to elders, the disabled and low-income families.
At its annual meeting, these officers and board members were elected for the coming year: Kay Spofford, president; Al Pettingill, vice president; Mike McGonagle, secretary; George Carifio, treasurer; and board members Amy Anwyl, Sharon Sullivan and Joseph Boucher.
Carifio, of Pentucket Bank, is new to the board this year.
Rebuilding Together Greater Haverhill wishes to thank Bob Des Marais, past president, and Jean McCann, past treasurer, who have volunteered their time and skills to the organization as they rotate off the Board of the Directors this year. Both served the maximum six years on the board and were presented with Certificates of Appreciation at the annual meeting.
"We deeply appreciate all that they have done over the years and want to make sure they are recognized," said Spofford. "These retiring board members have made significant contributions to Rebuilding Together Greater Haverhill, Inc. and we appreciate that they will continue to volunteer with the organization."
