Hundreds of people gathered in Haverhill recently to join the national protest against racism and police brutality.
They met outside Haverhill stadium and marched from Lincoln Avenue to Water Street to Ginty Boulevard, arriving at GAR Park. There, speakers reflected on the deaths of George Floyd and other black people who were killed by police officers.
The protesters promised to keep speaking up about racism and related violence as long as the national movement continues.
