Focus on youth sports: In the national spotlight
They tumbled and danced their way to top scores in a place far from home.
Members of the Haverhill YMCA’s Gym Stars represented the YMCA of the North Shore at the recent 2014 National YMCA Gymnastics Championships in Tampa, Florida.
They took home a variety of medals, including championship gold.

Alexandria Milne, 10, of Bradford was named national champion in her age group (Level 3) at the recent 2014 National YMCA Gymnastics Championships in Tampa, Florida. Nineteen gymnasts with the Haverhill YMCA’s Gym Stars team represented the YMCA of the North Shore at this highly competitive national event.
